Project of the Month – Affordable Home Improvements

In this post we will be showcasing a recent Orangery & landscaping  project undertaken by the team at affordable home improvements, located  in the village of Rothwell near Kettering.

 

As you can see from the before photograph the property already featured a conservatory, It was important for me to establish why a second conservatory was required and how we could improve on the design and functionality.

Based on the need for dining room the design we agreed on  is known as orangery, this design a mix between a conservatory and a traditional extension.

 

 

Lets look at some of the orangery features 

• Brick pillars
• Platformed ceilings
• lantern roof

This video was taken by the landscaper who walks you around the different areas that where paved as part of the project, pretty impressive stuff as you can see from the amount of trees that are growing out of the new indian stone.
