Here are a few of the highlights from a recent garage conversion in Fleckney, Leicestershire. The customers were in need of extra bedroom and a new utility room. They chose to have a garage conversion because it was one of the only places they could convert that would be a big enough area and they thought that would be the quickest and most cost effective way of creating extra space for them. In the utility room, we matched the cupboard doors and and worktop to the existing kitchen. It was important to the customer to match the bay window in the lounge. The garage housed the electric, gas and water meter which we managed to hide inside cupboard units. In this video, hear the customers thoughts and see the process for yourself.
Here are a few highlights from a recent garage conversion in Thorpe Astley, Leicestershire. The customers decided to convert their garage into an office as he needed space to work from home which he was unable to do now they’ve got a new born child. The customers knew a garage conversion was the way forward for them as it was the most cost effective way of adding a much needed additional room. The garage itself wasn’t big enough for their car and was only used for storage. the video below shows the transformation from a single garage into the perfect working space. Overall the project took around 2 weeks, and was a relatively simple project as the house is a new build. This project required planning permission as there is the problem of loosing a parking space After conversions, a 3 bed house is still required to have at least 2 parking spaces, and a 4 bed house needs a minimum of 3 parking spaces. Here are a few highlights from a recent orangery fitting and landscaped garden in Groby, Leicestershire. The homeowners decided that a conservatory wasn’t the right option for them, as they found them too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter and they wouldn’t use the room to it’s full potential. They still were in need for an extra room that would let in light and that they could enjoy all year round. So they decided to go forward with an orangery, half extension and half conservatory which still lets a lot of light in. The orangery features bi-folding doors because they are slimline and not as bulky as UPVC doors, they are also more modern. Our team also fully landscaped their garden, creating more space and a level area. The customers had long wanted a level garden as their children can make the most of it in the summer. A total of 30 tonnes of soil were used to create a flat finish. This project took approximately 4 weeks, with around 10 workers of different trades participating. The customers are happy with all of the work and look forward to using the new space as much as possible. This orangery and landscaping is available to view upon appointment.
